The Radiologic Sciences program at Brookhaven is a two-year, 64-credit-hour curriculum leading to an Associate of Applied Science degree.
Acceptance to the program is determined through a competitive selection process that is based on a point system. The program application packet details the application process, including the point system. By submitting complete application materials, prospective students are expected to be familiar with the application requirements. A cohort will be admitted to the program every Spring semester and Summer semester (in June).

Accreditation and Affiliations
The Radiologic Sciences program at Dallas College has been awarded eight years of accreditation (maximum awarded) by the
Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (20 N. Wacker Drive, Suite 2850, Chicago, IL 60606; phone: 312-704-5300) as of July 2017. A graduate of the program will be eligible to take the national registry examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). If successful on the exam, the graduate will become a Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)) and be eligible to be licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a General Medical Radiologic Technologist.
