Academic Advising and Registration
North Lake TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) provides case management and academic advising to assist students with customizing an educational plan to reach their academic goals of achieving a degree/certificate, transfer to a 4-year university, or enter the workplace.
Transfer Advising
North Lake TRIO SSS provides each student with a clear pathway to transferring to a 4-year university which includes transfer guide resources, admissions assistance, and transfer scholarship information. Campus visits to local and area universities are held each semester to help students narrow their choices.
One on One Tutoring
North Lake TRIO SSS provides free one on one tutoring for Math, Science and reviewing papers. We have a private classroom dedicated for our tutoring. Other tutoring platforms include group tutoring, study groups and online tutoring.
Coaching
The North Lake Campus TRIO SSS coaching program provides specialized support to help students be successful in their academic studies.
Supplemental Support
- Student Laptop and TI Calculator Checkout Program. TRIO SSS students, enrolled at the North Lake Campus may checkout a laptop or TI calculator to use on campus for up to four hours.
- Scantrons. TRIO SSS students, enrolled at the North Lake Campus, are provided free scantrons.
- TRIO Club. Leadership opportunities, community service, outreach and fundraising activities
