(DALLAS) — Dallas College is thrilled to announce a full month of events, performances and exhibitions as part of the city of Dallas’ Dallas Arts Month, showcasing the extraordinary creativity and talent of Dallas College students, faculty and staff.

Dallas College Arts Month is a vibrant celebration of our thriving artistic community,” said Ahava Silkey-Jones, vice provost, Dallas College School of Creative Arts, Entertainment and Design. “We are honored to be among the arts and cultural institutions represented in this year’s celebration, and we invite the community to join us in experiencing and participating in these entertaining events throughout the month of April.”

The monthlong celebration ends with Design Week and the highly anticipated Future of Fashion Design Showcase on April 24, 7-10 p.m., at the Astoria Event Venue in Irving.

“This year’s Dallas College Arts Month ends with a bang, as we showcase the craftsmanship of our fashion students and offer attendees an immersive experience into the future of design,” said Emmanuel Tobias, department lead of Dallas College’s fashion program. “This event not only highlights the creativity of our students but also serves as a launchpad for the next generation of fashion innovators. We’re excited to see how their work resonates with the public and the fashion industry.”
