Specific Naming Conventions and Best Practices
Campus Abbreviations
When specifying a subsite or page for a specific campus, instead of using the full campus name, we are sticking with the three-letter abbreviation.
Here is an example of a site that would need subsites for each campus and how to name them:
. └── advising/ ├── bhc/ ├── cvc/ ├── efc/ ├── ecc/ ├── mvc/ ├── nlc/ └── rlc/
Here is an example of a site that would need subpages for each campus and how to name them:
. └── advising/ └── pages/ ├── bhc.aspx ├── cvc.aspx ├── efc.aspx ├── ecc.aspx ├── mvc.aspx ├── nlc.aspx └── rlc.aspx
Bio Pages
For bio pages, the page file name should be [first]-[last].aspx
and not include any titles, degrees, initials or abbreviations.
