Video Trandscript

Welcome to How to Check Your Program Progress: Self-Service for Students! This is the third video in the Self-Service for Students series. Let's get started!

From the Welcome screen, click Student Planning.

Click Go to My Program Progress. If any red or yellow messages pop up in the top right corner here, make sure to read them and contact any departments listed before continuing.

In the At a Glance area, you can see your: Cumulative GPA, Institution GPA, Degree, Majors, Departments, Catalog year, Anticipated Completion Date, a drop-down that may let you view Alternate Catalog Years, and a link to view any Program Notes. To the right are three completion bars: Progress, Total Credits, and Total Credits from this School. As each bar fills, you are getting closer and closer to finishing your program!

Scrolling down a little bit.

In Requirements, you'll see several areas of study that are required to complete your program. Each will have a red or green bar.

The red bar means you have not completed all the requirements in that area of study. For example, I still have one class to complete under Mathematics.

A green bar means you have completed all the requirements in that area. For example, I have completed two of two classes in Communication.

On each bar, you can also click Show Details to see more about that requirement. For example, if I want to check my progress in American History, click Show Details, and here I can see there are two requirements: I have already completed History 1301. And now I need to take one of the following history classes to finish this requirement: 1302, 2301, 2328, or 2381. So, I need to plan to take one of those history classes. We'll see how to do that in the next video!

And that's it! You now know how your program progress is going!

If you want to return to the Welcome screen, click the Home icon in the menu bar along the left side of the screen. If you are finished in Self-Service, click Sign out in the upper-right corner.

Thank you for watching!
