[music] In this video, we'll explore the interface for the Microsoft Teams web app. Before getting started with the web version, make sure that you're using a supported browser, such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. Otherwise, there may be features, such as online meetings, that you won't be able to use.
After you sign in, use the icons on the left to navigate to the different apps or views in Microsoft Teams. Activity allows you to review recent activity in your teams and chats. Select Chat to chat privately with others. Teams takes you to your teams. Calendar allows you to manage your appointments, schedule meetings, and to join a meeting.
When you select an icon on the left, the relevant contents and features appear on the right. For example, when you select Chat, the area on the right displays previous chats and allows you to start a new conversation. When you select Calendar, your calendar displays in this area.
You can use the Search bar at the top to locate messages, files, people, and more. The Settings and more icon is to the right of the Search bar. The menu contains options to download the desktop and mobile apps. Select Settings on the menu to manage your app settings.
Clicking the User Account icon displays a menu that includes options to change your profile photo, change your availability, and sign out of Teams.
That concludes this introductory tour of the Microsoft Teams web user interface. Thanks for watching!
