Installing Respondus LockDown Browser

Installing Respondus LockDown Browser

Respondus LockDown Browser is a special web browser that locks the testing environment in eCampus. If the instructor requires that a test be taken in Respondus LockDown Browser, you will need to:

  1. Go to the Respondus LockDown Browser download page.
  2. Download and install Respondus LockDown Browser.

Important

  • You must download the Respondus LockDown Browser on the device you will be using to take the test.
  • Respondus does not automatically update, so students are encouraged to check their version on the download page to ensure they have the most up-to-date version.
  • If Dallas College computer lab computers are being used, the Respondus LockDown Browser must be installed on the device before the test.
