Ecampus announcements. Sometimes instructors wanted to convey information about the class when face-to-face interaction isn't possible. The Announcements tool helps with that.
You can find the announcements widget on the main page of your course. Or you can click the announcements tab on the navigation bar of the course you've selected.
The announcements widget will show you recent announcements made by your instructor. The announcements page will show you all past and present announcements made in the course unless your instructor has sent an announcement to expire on a certain date.
By default, you will get an email notification for new announcements in the course. However, you also have the ability to turn off this setting if you don't want those notifications.
