Self-Quarantine and Self-Reporting

If you believe you have come in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, or you believe you may be infected with COVID-19, please view our self-quarantine guidelines and complete our self-reporting form (login required) so that health professionals can adequately track this information and coordinate internal support. The information will be kept secure and confidential.

Dallas College's professionally licensed counselors are currently working remotely. Counseling and psychological services are provided free of charge, and each campus has a specific counselor assigned to help our students. Each counselor can provide professional counseling with a focus on mental health and well-being.

Making an Online Counseling Appointment

Students looking to speak with a counselor can email or call their campus' remote counseling center. To contact your campus counselor, please visit the counseling homepage. Students are encouraged to communicate the following information in order to be contacted by a counselor:

  • Name
  • Phone number

Contact your campus counseling center by email at Counseling@DallasCollege.edu.

The CARE Team was created to accept referrals regarding individuals in distress, struggling with basic needs, experiencing unexpected crises or whose behavior raises concerns about their well-being or that of others.

If you see or hear something, say something. That's the motto of Dallas College's CARE Team.

The CARE Team has been trained to appropriately address mental, emotional or psychological health conditions that may be disruptive, harmful or pose a direct threat or risk to the health and safety of the Dallas College community.

How do you make a referral to the CARE Team?

Online services are available for students during this time of temporary remote instruction. Please complete the CARE Team Online Referral Form in order to communicate with a team member. A representative of the CARE Team will review this information Monday–Friday within 24 business hours.

Note: This form is not for emergency situations. If you find yourself or someone you know in immediate danger, call 911.
