Learn More Contact Industry 4.0 Academy About the Industry 4.0 AcademyThe Industry 4.0 Academy program is an initiative to assist transitioning military service members into cutting-edge robotics and manufacturing jobs. Starting with the existing skills service members gained while in service, we provide supplemental training as necessary to meet industry requirements. We then connect pre-trained service members with our industry partners who are hiring. We are a national consortium of partners and experts in Industry 4.0, including the DoD SkillBridge program. Our pilot program in Dallas, Texas, includes an educational partnership with Dallas College. This pilot program is funded with a grant from the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Institute. Learn more about Industry 4.0 Academy About SkillBridgeThe U.S. Department of Defense SkillBridge program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences. Learn more about SkillBridge Industry 4.0 Occupations Autonomous Robotics Tech Build, install, test or maintain robotic equipment or related automated production systems. Make repairs to robots or peripheral equipment, such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders or servomotors. Biomedical Equipment Technicians Set up, operate and maintain laboratory and medical instruments and equipment, monitor equipment and software operations and assist in diagnostic and configuration of equipment.. Help Desk Rep Provide technical assistance to users and operators of robotic automation technologies and equipment.
