Treston Cook-Lincoln
Treston Cook-Lincoln is a member of the talent acquisition team for Dallas College Human Resources. He has over five years of recruiting experience with full-time, part-time, and contract roles in various industries, earning a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Alabama-Birmingham and a master’s degree in communication studies with a specialization in organizational leadership from the University of Alabama. In addition, he is a former Brookhaven graduate and passionate about promoting fairness, impartiality and diversity in the workplace.
Sean Guinyard
Sean Guinyard serves as a coordinator for multicultural affairs at Dallas College, where he plays a vital role in guiding students through cocurricular learning experiences. His dedication extends beyond the academic realms, focusing on nurturing leadership qualities that equip students to affect positive change within their respective industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Tarleton State University. Guinyard recognized the impact he could make in higher education, a realization that led him to pursue a master’s degree at the University of North Texas.
Elgrie J. Hurd III
Elgrie Jones Hurd III has traveled around the country educating educators and parents about the power of culturally relevant education. He is a faculty member at Dallas College Cedar Valley Campus in the psychology and sociology department as part of a 20-year education career. Hurd specializes in educational consulting, inclusive education, motivational speaking, and organizational program evaluations. He holds a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in psychology, with an emphasis in industrial-organizational psychology. He holds a master’s degree from San José State University in sociology, with an emphasis in sociology of education. Hurd also has a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona University in sociology and is currently pursuing his doctorate in leadership studies with a concentration in general leadership at Dallas Baptist University.
Trevon Oliver
Trevon Oliver is currently a program lead at Dallas College North Lake Campus for the Male Achievement Program, which promotes success for male students of color by providing mentorship, academic support and specialized services while advancing a sense of belonging and supporting future aspirations. His experience focuses on nonprofits and at-risk youth. Oliver holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from the University of Houston. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha and currently serves as a board member for Healthy Futures of Texas, a statewide nonprofit that strives to improve the well-being of young Texans through equitable access to sexual health education, contraception, and resources. He is also a mentor for Crowned Scholars, a youth organization in Dallas.
Bambo Oludimu
Bambo Oludimu is a dedicated professional with a demonstrated track record in fostering inclusive environments and driving impactful initiatives across diverse settings. He holds bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies as well as a master’s degree in equity and diversity in education from the University of Nevada-Reno. Oludimu currently serves as a coordinator for multicultural affairs at Dallas College, serving multiple roles in similar offices at other higher education institutions.
