Trip Date: May 2024 Community College Boot Camps in FranceStudents from around the globe met in France to discuss environmental challenges and built their sustainability skills. Five programs were offered in Summer 2024. Programs Offered “Some Like it Sustainable” at Université de Montpellier June 2-15, 2024 “Sustainable Engineering” at Ecole Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées (ESTIA) in Bidart from June 10th to June 23rd “Go Green” at Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour June 16-29, 2024 “Science for a Sustainable Development: from Conservation of Natural Heritage to Future Society” at Université de Lille June 30-July 13, 2024 “Beyond the Postcard: Nature, Culture and Sustainability in the French Caribbean” at Université des Antilles July 1-14, 2024 Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Exchange ProgramThe Critical Languages Scholarship Program provided fully funded language immersion programs for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to study languages that are considered critical to U.S. national security and economic competitiveness. The program covered a wide range of languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Russian and many others. Trip Date: Summer 2024 Asia - Kansai Gaidai UniversityStudents participated in this program to earn a B.A. in Global Engagement in Japan. Trip Date: June 2023 Civil Rights Tour 2024Dallas College faculty led an opportunity to walk in the steps of the Civil Rights leaders in Alabama. They visited museums, memorials, and historic sites, from Birmingham to Selma. Trip Date: March 2024 Brookhaven Choral Society to CroatiaDallas College students went on a choral adventure through Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia. Trip Date: June 2023Class Details: MUAZ Continuing Education Option La Meridiana Ceramic School Field Study CourseDallas College students went on a ten-day intensive ceramics workshop, set in Certaldo, Italy. Trip Date: June 2023Course Enrollment Requirements: ARTS 2346, ARTS 2347 or ARTS 2311 Civil Rights Trip (In-Country)Dallas College faculty led an opportunity to walk in the steps of the Civil Rights leaders in Alabama. They visited museums, memorials and historic sites, from Birmingham to Selma.
