Pre-evaluated learning refers to systematized and standardized types of prior learning. Institutional approval is needed to accept credit recommendations from an organization in this category.
An institutional review of external training, licenses or certifications will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.

- Advanced Placement tests (AP)
- Military and occupational training evaluated by the American Council on Education (ACE)
- Corporate and industry certifications evaluated by ACE
- International Baccalaureate diploma
- National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS)
- National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)
- Dallas College cross-listed continuing education courses and other approved credit evaluation services’ recommendations
