The guided pathway in Agriculture will set the foundation to understand basic plant and animal science and about the agricultural industry. The Associate of Science (A.S.) degree with courses in this pathway is designed to transfer to Agricultural Science programs universities in the State of Texas.
This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing Agriculture. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn an A.S. degree, which will increase your chances of transfer to bachelor's-level programs. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours (15 hours) required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. Courses that complete the Degree are noted below. - After reviewing your degree plan and program of study, meet with your advisor to apply for the Associate of Science degree in Agriculture.
