prepare you for the reality of your future career. There are
two levels in the emergency medical services program:
Emergency Medical Technician-Basic and Paramedic.
The Emergency Medical Technician provides basic life support
and emergency health care in settings such as ambulance
agencies, hospitals, and fire departments. The Paramedic
program is designed to prepare you to provide advanced
pre-hospital emergency care, such as intravenous fluids and
medications, endotracheal intubation and electrocardiogram
rhythm identification and treatment.
The Emergency Medical Services Programs provides classroom
instruction, access to cutting edge technology, ambulance
experience, and hospital rotations with an emphasis on
emergency department experience.
