Manufacturing Design

​Enter the world of manufacturing design and CAD with the
continuing education program at Richland College.

The manufacturing design program teaches skills in computer-aided design (CAD) with an emphasis on manufacturing.

Courses focus on CAD in the manufacturing industry and using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.

The skills learned through the program can lead to a number of career paths, such as architecture, machining, construction, engineering, facilities management, landscape design, interior design, and multimedia.

  • DFTG 1014 - Introduction to Computer Assisted Drafting &smp; Design
  • DFTG 2004 - Computer Assisted Drafting & Design II
  • DFTG 2046 - Advanced Computer Assisted Drafting & Design
  • DFTG 1000 - Solid Works I
  • DFTG 2009 - Solid Works II
