As a sterile processing technician, it will be your job to stock, sterilize and prepare tools and equipment that will be used during surgery.

You’ll be right in the thick of things and responsible for making sure everyone – doctors, nurses, patients, etc. – don’t face any contamination.

As a sterile processing technician, you’re also responsible for the cleanliness and safety of operating rooms, table and equipment.

Of course, that means you will spend most of your time in hospitals, clinics and doctors’ offices.
