​Purpose of this webpage:

The Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA), includes many disclosures and reporting requirements. A disclosure requirement is information that a postsecondary education institution is required to distribute or make available to another party, such as students or employees. A reporting requirement is information that must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Education or other agencies.

  • Voter Registration — Forms are available at each campus. 
  • Constitution Day — Dallas College holds a Constitution Day event annually at each of our main campuses.

Disclosure Requirements Relating to Education Loans

  • State and Federal Grant Assistance

  • Private Education Loans — Dallas College does not have any preferred lender relationships. No lender may be authorized to use the name, emblem, mascot, logo or other institutional identifier of Dallas College for any marketing of private education loans.
  • Private Education Loan Disclosures (Including Self-Certification Form) — Upon inquiry from the prospective student loan borrower, Dallas College or District Office personnel responsible for processing the private credit loan will disclose required information.

    If the prospective student loan borrower meets all processing requirements, upon credit approval from the prospective private credit lender, Dallas College or District Office personnel responsible for processing the private credit loan will disclose and disseminate the “Private Education Loan Applicant Self-Certification” to the borrower for their consideration.

  • Preferred Lender Arrangements/Preferred Lender Lists — Dallas College does not retain a preferred lender list for private student loans, nor does it keep any other lists of lenders. We encourage students to pursue federal and state financial aid as their primary source of funding before seeking out private student loans.
