The Dallas College Service-Learning Program offers several opportunities
for students to engage in campus-based education, environmental care,
health, social services, and virtual projects while connecting those
valuable efforts with classroom learning and curricula.
It enhances student learning by connecting academic content with hands-on
experiences, developing leadership skills, and learning from community-based
professionals. Service Learning develops the 21st-century skills (4 C’s) that
employers are looking for in college graduates: Creativity - Critical Thinking
