Join us at the Women’s Empowerment Leadership Conference for an opportunity to network, meet other students and build a sense of belonging. Get inspired by keynote speaker Judge Vonda Bailey, and attend workshops on financial literacy, entrepreneurship and mental health — everything you need to help you “Be Your Own Boss!”

Judge Vonda Bailey Shaw

255th Family District Court in Dallas County

Vonda Bailey Shaw is a Dallas, Texas native. She is the daughter of Charles and Cynthia Bailey and grew up in the historic Oak Cliff neighborhood. Vonda graduated from David W. Carter High School and then attended Dallas College where she obtained her associate degree.
