This is an​ example course sequence for students interested in pursuing Geology. This pathway in Geology will provide a foundation for you to complete courses toward an Associate of Science (AS) that will help you transfer to the University of Texas at Arlington (UT Arlington) to earn a Bachelor of Science in Geology. Although there may be several options to fulfill certain requirements for the associate’s degree, please note that this pathway lists the specific courses leading to this bachelor’s degree. You must receive a GPA of at least 2.00 on all college-level course work. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. Students who successfully complete the core curriculum at Dallas College as noted in this pathway plan before enrolling at UTA will be considered core complete if certified as such by Dallas College; core complete students will not need to take coursework to complete UTA’s core curriculum.
