In this video, we are going to show you how to use the calendar features in Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams allows you to start a meeting from your Microsoft Teams calendar. Select the calendar icon in the left side navigation. It will open to calendar view. Here you have the option to meet now or schedule a meeting.
To start an on-demand meeting, click on Meet now. You have the option to enter or change the meeting name. When ready, click on Start Meeting. The device settings window will appear. Select the settings for your camera and audio. When done, click Join Now, there is a meeting link to share with other team members. A menu bar will appear in the meeting workspace.
To leave the meeting, click on the hangup icon. You will notice your meeting in the workspace area.
To schedule a meeting in Teams, click on the calendar icon in the left navigation. Click on new meeting in the top right-hand corner. Enter Meeting Details beginning with the title of the meeting.
Add any attendees that will attend the meeting, enter a start date and start time. An end date. And end time. Indicate whether the meeting repeats or not. Add a channel. You have the option to add a location. Enter a message in the message box below. When ready, click send in the top right-hand corner. Your meeting will appear on your Microsoft Teams calendar.
When you're ready to join the meeting, click on the title and select join.
