[music] To participate in a team meeting, you will need to know how to navigate the meeting interface. This video will show you how to manage your camera and audio settings for a team meeting, identify the options on the meeting's Menu bar, and show you how to share content during a meeting.
When you join a meeting, you'll have an opportunity to manage your audio and video settings. You can turn your camera and microphone on or off. You can also select the Settings icon to manage your devices. The meeting's Menu bar contains options to control your camera and your microphone, share content, access additional actions, raise your hand, chat with participants, view and invite participants, and hangup or leave the meeting.
The meeting Menu bar in the Microsoft Teams web app is not stationary. If you don't see it, move your mouse within the meeting window, and it should appear again.
During a meeting, you may want to share your screen, a browser or application window, or a file. To share content in the web version of a team meeting, start by selecting the Open share tray icon in the Menu bar. You can upload a PowerPoint file to share. To stop sharing the presentation, select the Stop presenting button. To share your screen or an application, select the Open share tray icon, select Screenshare and then select what it is you want to share.
When you're ready to stop sharing, select the Stop sharing button in the pop-up toolbar, or return to the meeting window and select the Stop sharing icon in the Menu bar. When the meeting's over or when you need to leave, select the Hang up icon.
Although the Microsoft Teams web and desktop meeting interfaces are similar, there are a few differences. In the desktop app, the Menu bar is fixed at the top right of the window. The desktop Menu bar contains options to view and invite participants, chat with participants, add emojis and raise your hand, access additional actions, such as device settings, control your camera and microphone, share content, and leave the meeting. The features are similar in the two versions, but their icons are located in different areas of the window.
[music] Hopefully, you're now comfortable navigating a team meeting. Thanks for watching this video.
