Student evaluation of their instructors and courses
End of Course Surveys are used to find out how students perceive the quality of credit courses, faculty and instruction at Dallas College. Instructors use End of Course Survey results to improve the courses they teach and their instruction.
End of Course Surveys are available online in eCampus through
Course Eval which is located under the
More tab. You can take the survey on any device that connects to the Internet.
You will receive an email when the End of Course Survey opens. If you get a request to complete a course evaluation, please do so as soon as possible. Completing this survey will help the college and your instructors find out how we might improve your educational experiences.
Your identity and responses will remain
anonymous and confidential. Student names and other information are not associated with the surveys at any time, and results for the evaluations will not be available to instructors until after final grades have been submitted.
Access, complete and submit an evaluation
Complete the following steps to take the End of Course Survey:
- Log in to eCampus.
- Click
More on the main menu and select
Course Eval.
- Choose a course section from the list of courses to be evaluated.
- Click the
Take Now button to begin the survey.
The evaluations are paginated for easier survey taking. Once you begin your evaluation, you will see the number of questions listed on each page. - Answer each page of questions and click
Save and Continue to continue.
You can save your answers and return to the course evaluations site anytime during the open evaluation period to complete the survey.
If you have saved progress, but you have not submitted, you will see the date and time that you saved progress and the Take Survey button is replaced with a
Continue button. There is no limit to the number of times you can save. Just don’t forget to submit! - Click
Save and Continue to submit the survey.

Edit an evaluation
Respondents can edit all responses while the survey is open.
To change your responses to a survey:
- Return to
Course Eval in eCampus.
- Click the
Completed Survey List tab.
- Click the
Edit Survey Answers link to make changes.
The Edit Survey Answers link will stay available until the survey closes.
- Complete the survey and click
Save and Continue to submit it.
Send proof to your instructor
This notification lets the instructor know that you submitted the survey. This feature is selected at your discretion and, in no way, compromises anonymity.
To send proof to your instructor:
- Return to
Course Eval in eCampus.
- Click the
Completed Survey List tab.
- Click the
Send Proof link to send an email to your instructor.
Once sent, the link is replaced with the date and time you clicked the link.
Tips for Students
All course evaluations are completely anonymous, and instructors cannot view the results until after final grades have been submitted.
Can I make a submission once a survey is closed?
No. Once the deadline for the evaluation closes, you are no longer able to complete your survey. There is no way to reopen the survey to allow additional submissions.
How can I edit my responses?
There will be an
Edit Survey Answers link available to make additional changes to your responses up until the survey closes.
