Kenya Ware
Senior Manager
Kenya Ware joined Mountain View in May of 2018 as the senior manager of the Bilingual Education Center Title V Grant. Before joining Mountain View, she attained more than two decades of experience as an educator. She also has over 15 years of grant experience.
Kenya Ware holds two Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degrees from Southern Illinois University and a Masters of Business Administration from Amberton University.
The goal of the Bilingual Education Department (BEC) is to increase the number of students entering the Bilingual Teacher Education Career Pathway and to assist them with degree plan completion.
Brittany Turner
Program Services Coordinator
Brittany Turner is a Dallas native and graduate of Nimitz High School in Irving, Texas. After graduating from high school in 2004, Brittany received a collegiate basketball scholarship to attend Southwestern Christian College where she received her Associate of Science degree and Texas Wesleyan University graduating with a B.S. in Kinesiology.
Before coming to Mountain View, Brittany was the site coordinator for the Fort Worth After School program in Fort Worth, Texas for eight years. She now serves as the program services coordinator at Mountain View working under the Social Sciences Division in the Bilingual Education Center. Brittany’s goal in her role is to empower people and transform the community, providing critical student and staff services, while achieving student success and building community partnerships. Her favorite quote by Pat Riley is, “Great effort springs naturally from a great attitude.”
Scott Hamilton
Research Associate
Scott Hamilton has been with Dallas College for the three years starting as an adjunct professor at the El Centro campus. He then came to Mountain View to work with the dual credit program before joining the BEC as a research associate.
He holds a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Texas State University and is a doctoral candidate at University of North Texas working on his dissertation in sociology with a focus on stratification and digital sociology. He has a decade of experience in education and higher education, working as an instructor and other capacities around student success and achievement. His aim at Mountain View is to be proud of the quality and effectiveness of the programs and opportunities that are provided for our students.
Mireya Delgado
Administrative Assistant
Mireya is a Dallas native and graduate of Adamson High School in Oak Cliff. After graduating high school, Mireya became a certified cosmetologist, practicing cosmetology for about eight years in Dallas. Shortly after, Mireya worked in the IT field for nine years where she managed IT projects and billing. As an active participant and president of the PTA in Dallas Independent School District, Mireya also worked in the DISD as an administrative assistant for three years.
Now, transitioning to Mountain View, Mireya is the administrative assistant for the Bilingual Education Center. She hopes to assist Mountain View and the Bilingual Education Center achieve its goals of empowering people and transforming the community.
