Accepting and Receiving Your Aid

How will I know if I have a financial aid award?

You will be notified by email when you have an award. You may also view posted financial aid awards, account summaries and other helpful personal information under the Student Menu in eConnect for Summer 2025 or your Student Profile in Workday for Fall 2025, our secure online services (login required).

What do I need to do to receive my aid?

1. Read the Award Letter Information and Instructions for an overview of important topics such as disbursement dates, restrictions, deadlines, award definitions and explanations, costs of attendance, how refunds work, work-study and Federal Direct Loans.
2. In eConnect, for Continuing Education coursework and for Spring and Summer 2025 credit courses: under Financial Aid, click on Financial Aid Checklist, then click on myAwards. This is where you will accept the terms and conditions of any awards for which you are eligible.
   
3. In Workday, for Fall 2025 credit courses, see how to view Financial Aid​ (login required). 
   
4. For Federal Direct Loans, review How Do I Get My Loan?

How will I receive my financial aid?

Dallas College processes and distributes refunds and disbursements (including financial aid funds) through eRefunds. You can use eRefunds to choose the method you prefer to receive your financial aid.

To help you get your money as soon as possible, make sure the Admissions/Registrar’s Office has your correct email and mailing address.
