It’s almost that time again: Summer Benefits Enrollment!
During your enrollment period, you will have the opportunity to choose a new medical plan for yourself and your eligible dependents during the two-week Summer Enrollment phase assigned to you
(June 24 - July 5). Benefit elections made during Summer Enrollment for Plan Year 2025 will be effective on Sept. 1, 2024.
Summer Enrollment is your only chance to make benefits changes unless you have a qualifying life event.
If you don't want to make changes to your benefits, you do not need to do anything during Summer Enrollment: your current coverage will continue through Plan Year 2025 (Sept. 1, 2024 - Aug. 31, 2025. To make changes or updates please login to the
ERS Online.
Medicare-eligible retirees will have the opportunity to make plan changes in the fall. For questions about your HealthSelect medical plan, visit the
Summer Enrollment page on the HealthSelect website or call (800) 252-8039 (TTY: 711).
The Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) will host
online webinars and in-person fairs throughout the Summer Enrollment period. Each webinar will include a short benefits presentation and a Q&A session with ERS and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas representatives.
