Dallas College has one of the largest dual credit programs in the state of
Texas. As of Fall 2020, we serve over 29,000 students through partnerships
across 290 high schools accounting for about 30% of overall Dallas College
enrollment.
Are you a Dual Credit instructor in need of assistance?
Are you interested in becoming a credentialed Dual Credit instructor?
Dual credit instructors are employed on an as-needed basis for a semester with
no expectation of continued employment or property rights beyond the semester
assignment. Dual credit instructors must meet the same academic and
professional credential requirements as regular full-time faculty employed by
Dallas College.
The application deadlines are:
Summer deadline - April 30, 2025
Fall deadline - May 31, 2025
If you are employed by one of our partnering high schools and are interested
in becoming a dual credit instructor:

Credentialing Guidelines by Discipline.

If you meet the minimum requirements, submit a
Dual Credit Credentialed Instructor Application and upload unofficial transcripts.

After your application and unofficial transcripts have been reviewed, if you
are considered eligible for credentialing, you will be contacted to provide
further information, including official transcripts.
