Mental Health and Wellness
Veterans Mental Health Summit
- Every Fall we offer our annual Veterans Mental Health Summit, which promotes mental health and
wellbeing. Participants tend to walk away with enhanced knowledge of the ways they can positively impact
their mental health and wellbeing through educational programming and resources.
Health Services - Whether
you served stateside or in combat, in the reserves, National Guard, or regular military, our Health
Services is here to offer various nursing assistance. You also do not need to be sick to visit any of
our Health Services Departments in Dallas College - all health concerns and questions are welcomed.
Veterans Crisis Line - Are you a
veteran in crisis or concerned about one? Connect with the Veterans Crisis Line to reach caring,
qualified responders with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Many of them are veterans themselves. Call
800-273-8255 (Press 1).

Services - Do you have service-connected disabilities or learning disabilities? If
you are a veteran having difficulty finishing exams, are easily distracted in the classroom or have
physical or emotional issues impeding your performance in classes, our Accessibility Services Department
is a great resource for you to ensure you get equal access to programs and services.
