What are Outside Scholarships?
Outside scholarships are awarded by organizations or individuals outside of
Dallas College or the Dallas College Foundation. These can include community
groups, businesses, foundations or private donors.
Requirements:

Checks: Make checks payable to
Dallas College and mail to:

Include: Student name, college ID, letter with
instructions for disbursement or Scholarship Donor Information Form.

Disbursement: Scholarships are disbursed at the start of
the semester. Checks received after the start of the semester will be
processed within 7-10 business days.

Fund Allocation: Scholarship funds are applied to tuition
and fees. Any remaining funds will be refunded to the student unless
otherwise specified by the donor.

Funds will not be applied to the student account until a stipulation
letter or stipulation form is received.
Enrollment Verification:
If a scholarship donor requests proof of enrollment, students can provide a
copy of their class schedule or billing statement. This information can be
accessed by the student in Self Service. Please note that the college will not directly provide this information to
the donor. Students must share it themselves.
