This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing the Emergency Medical Services - Paramedicine Level II Certificate. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn the Emergency Medical Services – Paramedicine Level II Certificate. Courses from this certificate may apply to the related A.A.S. degree. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. Upon successful completion of all course work, the student is eligible to take the exam for registration as a Paramedic through the National Registry of EMT. Upon successful completion of that examination, the student is eligible to apply for certification as a Paramedic in the State of Texas. Documentation of successful completion of the National Registry of EMT exam must be submitted prior to registration. Courses that complete the Paramedicine Level II Certificate are noted below.
