The UX/UI Design Certificate program will provide the foundational knowledge to prepare completers to enter the user experience design industry. The students will develop skills in planning, producing and evaluating UX design elements needed for industry application. This certificate will be awarded for successful completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours, which includes a series of technical courses specifically in UX/UI design. The certificate is designed to be completed in two semesters. All courses taken in the certificate will apply to the AAS degree in Experience Design/User Interface (UX/UI). Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. See catalog for official certificate requirements.

Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
