Humanities

When you take Humanities at Dallas College, you will be thrilled and inspired to understand yourself, your community, and your world more deeply. We teach courses that challenge students to think about how, what, and why humans create. Our interdisciplinary approach to teaching humanities gives students a more well-rounded understanding of the world and the historical and cultural contexts inspiring the creative process.

Humanities courses are listed under the four-letter rubric (course prefix) HUMA.

Our students learn many marketable skills including teamwork, communication, critical thinking, effective writing, and creative problem solving.
