Register to Become a Supplier

Looking to apply for a spot as a supplier of goods or services to Dallas College? You're watching the right video. This will walk prospective suppliers and purchasing transaction specialists through the steps in submitting a request to be a supplier.

Before you begin, make sure you have a completed copy of your W-9 available for uploading later in this process.

Now sign in and then, on the pop-up, either sign in or create an account if it is your first time applying. Enter your email address and choose a password. Be sure your password meets all the criteria listed here.

After creating an account, you will be sent an email asking you to verify your email address. It would look something like this.

Click on the link and then log in with your newly created account.

As a new applicant, you will need to register. Here you will fill in your business information. Enter the legal name of the business as payments will be issued on this name. Under supplier category, always select unrestricted. Select the types of services you provide under supplier group.

Choose multiple types if applicable. For example, advertising and media goods and services is selected here.

Enter your business tax ID number, which will be either an employee ID number or a social security or individual taxpayer identification number. Then select the type of tax ID you entered. Select yes only if you are a 1099 supplier. Fill in your accepted payment types and currency information.

Select the type of payment you accept. If EFT is selected, bank information and email address is required for submission. Bank details including bank name, city, routing number, account number, or wire details must be uploaded on official bank letterhead. Otherwise, default payment type should be checked and will require the business address.

Select the currencies you accept. If your company is in the US, default currency should be USD only. Fill in your business contact details. Add the company phone number of the main contact person or department. Add additional phone numbers for contact purposes if there are any. Add the company email of the main contact person or department. Add the full company website URL if desired. Make sure to start with HTTP or HTTPS. Fill in your company address information under remit to address. This section is required. Enter check payment address starting with your country. Add any other address used for mailing if different than remit to address.

Add classifications if any of them apply to your company. Examples of US classifications include disadvantaged business enterprise, DBE, and minority certified African American owned business. Multiple classifications can be selected by clicking add. If none of these classifications apply to the business, click remove. An account nickname for your payment choice will need to be chosen. Enter your banking information if ACH, EFT, wire payment is selected. Choose the country your bank is located in. Choose the type of account you will be using, then enter the name of the company's bank and the routing transit number. This will be validated by our system. Enter the bank account number.

If wire payment is selected, enter bank identification code and bank instructions. If check is selected under payment types, leave the account details blank and continue filling out the form.

Enter contact person information to refer any queries with the account. Leaving this information blank could delay approval of your company as a supplier. A mailing address is not required here. Attach your W9 or any other tax and legal documents.

Accepted file types include DOC, DOCX, HTML, PDF, and TXT files, all with a size limit of 10 megabytes. Read and accept the terms and conditions, then enter your contact person's initials as the signature. Review your company information under summary. If everything looks correct, click submit at the bottom of the page.

You have finished your submission and administrators will now review your request. Thank you for applying.
