How To Get Started
Dallas College has an open-door admissions policy. Anyone who can benefit from post-secondary education has an opportunity to enroll.
You can apply to Dallas College even if you don’t have a high school diploma or a GED certificate. No matter what your current circumstances are, we can work with you to develop a plan to help you achieve your educational and career goals. See our catalog for more information about our
admission requirements.
Once you have applied for admission, you should plan to complete pre-advising, determine if you meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements, connect with an advisor and participate in an information session, and register for classes. Visit our
Admissions & Registration page for more information on the steps you’ll need to take toward obtaining a college degree or technical training.
